After the initial meeting with the client to view the garden and discuss the project, a design proposal can be prepared. This proposal describes all the activities that occur during the design process and includes the design fees.

Phase One - On acceptance of the design proposal, the initial research stage can begin. This involves a fully measured site survey and a complete analysis of the garden, including soil samples. At this point the design brief and budget would be established.

Phase Two - Once all the research has been completed then the work can commence on the concept design. This is a scaled layout plan of the new design, accompanied by supportive visuals and samples. At the end of this phase the plan is presented to the client.
Phase Three - This stage covers design development and the planting plan. Design development includes any necessary construction drawings or alterations to the layout. The planting plan is a scaled drawing showing the exact location of all plants. This is accompanied by the plant schedule; which is a list of plants required and and supplier's details. Once construction is underway then site supervision can also be offered as an additional service. This includes regular site visits to check on the progress of the building to ensure a smooth running project.
